The " Food Quality Label Tunisia" for Harissa was created in 2014 by the Tunisian state. The label that appears on the certified Tunisian Harissa packages, is a guarantee of the product's origin, traditional recipe and especially the quality and freshness of its carefully selected ingredients.
The logo of the label, inspired by an ancieent Tunisian coin, represents a smiling sun and invites you to discover the warm Tunisian culture.
Companies producing canned Harissa that respects the voluntary labelling approach must apply specifications undergo a double check, both from the managing body and an external certification institute.
