Monte Ida products are manufactured at the Uygun Refinery Integrated Olive Oil Facilities based in Havran which is at the foot of the Kaz Dağları (Mountains) known actually as Mount Ida in mythology. These mountains whose name the brand bears are unique thanks to their climatic characteristics and ecosystem, by having the most ideal air quality for the human organism, and the soil on which the most tasteful olives grow.
Under the brand name Monte Ida, Uygun Refinery offers olive oil products to its consumers which is obtained from special olives grown in an ideal climate and fertile soil and processed under the most convenient conditions that preserve the naturalness and sensory characteristics of its products.
Uygun Refinery exports its entire range of olive and olive oil products to many countries in the world including Japan, China, South Korea, Norway, The United States, Canada, Brasil, India and Dubai. Uygun Refinery, which has gained experience and knowledge throughout its long history alongside understanding and meeting the needs of its consumers, takes its place among the pioneer and reliable companies within the sector.
Uygun Refinery Olive Oil Integrated Facilities first opened its doors in the 1960’s as an olive oil refinery. Later on the company took its continuous system olive pressing, storage and filling units under operation. Today the facility is one of the two integrated olive oil facilities in Turkey and one of the seven around the world.
The factory is based on a territory of over 7 thousand square metres out of which 3 thousand square metres is a closed area while its average manufacturing capacity exceeds 10 thousand tonnes. The factory takes environmental protection as its “fundamental duty” and fulfills all the requirements in this respect with ISO 9001, ISO 22000, ISO22000 and HACCP quality certificates which it holds.
