Dacsa Group: Pioneering Sustainable Food Solutions with Hi Vegs! In retail

Dacsa Group, a leading industrial group specialized in Food Ingredients development, proudly announces its latest venture, Hi Vegs!, a plant-based food brand set to revolutionize the retail market. With a solid reputation in Europe and an extensive portfolio in Rice Milling, Corn Milling, and Food Solutions, Dacsa Group aims to be at the forefront of the sustainable food industry.

In recent times, Dacsa Group has directed its focus towards the Food Solutions division, with particular emphasis on integrated plant-based solutions. The launch of Hi Vegs! marks a significant step in this direction. Hi Vegs! offers a range of premium industrial ingredients, including textured pea protein, that cater to diverse applications in the food industry, as well as finished products that are both delicious and sustainable. Part of the Dacsa Group, a family company with a long history in the food sector thanks to its knowledge and experience, Hi Vegs! has arrived on the market with a strong foothold.

Dacsa has enabled the creation of Hi Vegs!, a more transparent brand of vegetable products, with recognisable ingredients, and a new approach to a more honest and sustainable lifestyle.

Hi Vegs! is a market-leading brand of plant-based products. We offer a wide range of meat, fish and egg substitute options, all of which are 100% plant-based and of high quality. Our mission is to promote a healthy and sustainable lifestyle through our innovative and delicious products. We are committed to sustainability and the conservation of natural resources, and are constantly working to develop new food solutions that meet the needs of our consumers while protecting the environment.

Our Carrefour range includes fish substitutes such as tuna flavoured snacks, as well as meat substitutes such as beef flavoured snacks, a burger and meatballs. In addition, we offer Veggieclara, an egg substitute. Two ready meals are also available on the ambient shelf: Curry bites with quinoa and Tex-Mex bites prepared for burritos. Finally, the most recent addition: vegetable sausages: All our products are designed to meet the needs of people who follow a healthy lifestyle and care about the environment.

We control the supply chain of our products, as we have the first wet texturised protein factory in Spain. This allows us to guarantee the supply of products to our customers and ensure their high quality. In addition, we have our own R&D&I centre, which allows us to be very agile in the development of new solutions.

"At Dacsa Group, we strive to be our customers' partner of choice, and Hi Vegs! is a testament to our dedication to meeting their needs and contributing to the well-being of our planet," said Araceli Císcar, Director at Dacsa Group. "Our team of research and development experts has worked tirelessly to create these high-quality, versatile ingredients, ensuring that they are sourced sustainably, aligning with our commitment to environmental responsibility."

Hi Vegs! sets out to capture the essence of plant-based goodness by offering a delectable array of sustainable food choices. From textured pea protein, ideal for industrial applications, to a variety of finished plant-based products, Hi Vegs! products are designed to delight consumers while promoting a healthier and more sustainable lifestyle.
